    Position Summary

    The (Sr.) Account Lead owns and is accountable for focused client engagement and business development across the teams/locations within their vertical. Consistently and continuously drive client growth through customer and operational excellence, driving team to stretch their performance beyond the stated targets of their role. 


    Core Skills and Responsibilities

    • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting targeted customers; discover and explore opportunities.

    • Create and execute a business development strategy for vertical clients supported.

    • Work effectively with BD team and Delivery Resources during sales cycle.

    • Quarterback the development and presentation of solutions/proposals.

    • Navigate and operate effectively in a matrix sales organization.

    • Collaborate with other sellers in targeted customer set.

    • Close business deals by coordinating requirements.

    • Work closely and collaboratively with internal stake holders.


    Minimum Requirements into Role 

    Below are the minimum requirements which should be demonstrated in this role to be successful (remember this is not a tick box exercise but we would expect a high performer to be demonstrating most of these indicators):

    Core

    • Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship management skills at senior levels

    Educational background and relevant experiences 

    • Min. 5 years of sales experience in the Information Technology Services or Engineering Service.

    • 2-3 years of experience selling IT services with an offshore component.

    • Successful track record in software services sales.

    • Experienced in selling in any verticals like Fintech, Hi-tech, Auto, Pharm, Consumer, Engineering among others.

    • Proven experience at the client and executive level.

    • Excellent networking skills.
